Terms of Use
Last updated October 14, 2026
These are the terms for using PDFSizeFit. By using the site, you agree to them.
The service
PDFSizeFit is a free set of browser-based tools for working with PDF files: compressing a PDF (including to a target size, and several files at once), merging, splitting, organizing pages, editing text and adding annotations, converting JPG images to PDF, and converting a PDF to a Word document. It requires no account, no sign-up, and no payment. Files are processed on your own device, in your browser — see the Privacy Policy for exactly how.
Limits
Because everything runs on your device, what the tools can handle depends partly on your device's memory and browser. Each file can be up to 100 MB, and some tools have their own limits, which are shown on each tool's page. Very large files may be slow, or fail on devices with limited memory.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the tools to process content you don't have the right to possess, modify, or handle.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site or the infrastructure it runs on.
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
Your files and your results
Your files, and everything in them, remain yours — we never receive a copy, so we make no claim over them. You are responsible for checking every result before relying on it: compression can reduce image quality, and conversion or editing may not reproduce every detail of the original layout. The Disclaimer explains the limits of each kind of result.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranty of any kind — including no guarantee that it will be available at any given time, that it will be error-free, or that any tool will produce a particular result for a particular file.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFSizeFit and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including, without limitation, any consequence of a document being rejected by a third-party system, or of a result that differs from the original. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Intellectual property
The PDFSizeFit name, design, and code belong to its operator, except for the open-source components it is built with, which remain under their own licenses.
Changes to the service
The service may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time — there's no account or subscription to cancel, since none exists.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with them.
